The problem

In multi-service B2B SaaS companies, some of the most complex problems arise from the need to maintain a cohesive ecosystem for clients to benefit from the many different product offerings seamlessly. This kind of cross-product integration is what powers supercharged growth because it accelerates onboarding and unblocks cross-selling.

At Deel, for example, EOR (Employer of Record) clients could access a suite of benefits—such as health insurance and pensions—provided by various external carriers. At the same time, Deel also managed payroll for these clients. Because financial benefits directly impact payroll calculations and tax deductions, these two products must be in sync. This is where benefit payroll components come into play.
